Ethiopia Guji OCR - 250g

The Guji definitely has a unique flavour all of its own. I guess its a kind of pleasant sourness, with plenty of depth. Nice for a change from normal coffee.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Homa - 250g

This coffee has great acidity, beautiful aroma (giving off lovely smells in the kitchen and the rest of the house). I would always have it being brewed when I am trying to sell my house. It retains its flavour so well with great body to it. I would say full bodied. As far as I am aware Ethiopia is the first country in the world to have discovered the cultivation of coffee and it certainly shows, as this has a refreshing energizing effect on your palette.

Mzuzu Malawi AAA - 250g

I felt that this coffee was good to drink on its own. It certainly is a high quality coffee. From an acidity point of view the coffee did not taste flat. I did detect a bit of a bitterness aroma and it was again full bodied. I would recomm this coffee if you are not having anything to eat with it as the distinct taste was of a high quality.

Sidamo Q1 Ethiopia: This coffee definitely tasted better a few days after roasting - It was much smoother a couple of days after roasting. It also definitely needs to brew for at least 4 minutes and is better left a bit longer. It was quite smooth but with a slight tanin after taste. A definite citrus aciditiy. I would give it 6.5-7 out of 10.

I subscribed to this deal on recommendation and it is a great way to welcome Thursday morning when the new coffee arrives! To date our favourite has been the Ethiopian Sidamo 2 - rich, full bodied with a long lingering after taste - great for groggy mornings! Excellent service and excellent coffee.

Kenya Peaberry -250g

Thought it was about time I pencilled a review of one of our coffees and this Kenya Peaberry certainly deserves it. A deliciously sweet and well balanced cup with great aromas and discernable fruit flavours. it would almost feel a crime to add milk or sugar as the flavours are quite delicate (and it really doesn''t need it!) I took a bag of this on holiday along with a Bodum travel press and thoroughly enjoyed every cup, which made a welcome alternative to the hotel instant / pod machines! I always look forward to new Kenya coffees hitting our roastery and this one has not dissappointed. Looking forward to the next roast!

For Life Stump Teapot

At last ! A tea pot that does what it supposed to. Saw it advertised as one of the best and it pours without dripping, looks good and has large hinged stainless steel lid making filling with boiling water and removing tea bag easy. Also means the lid doesn''t get smashed making the pot useless as you never seem to be able to buy separate lids! also can be used with tea leaves.

Mzuzu Malawi AAA - 250g

big bodied coffee, really well suited to a cafetiere served among a group of friends, a good starting point for first time buyers

El Salvador Finca Malacara - 250g

stunning coffee, lots of really nice floral notes, the delicate flavours are really brought out using a v60 or similar pour over method as opposed to the more traditional cafetiere

Tiamo Espresso 250g

This is simply one of the most outstanding coffee blends I have ever tasted. It is by far my favourite coffee. A rich blend, strong in flavour without ever being bitter and a lingering smooth finish. It is excellent as an espresso right through to a latte.
