Behind the Scenes - First Trust Promo Shoot

Smile for the camera!! Today saw a few guests pop over to our roastery at Bailies Coffee. The reason.... a photo shoot for a massive promotional campaign from First Trust bank, our new partner in the banking world. The shots involve our commander-in-chief himself Russell, involved in some artisan roastery business. We thought we would take the opportunity to photograph the photography - inception style - and give you a quick behind the scenes preview. You can see all the shots below. We will of course post the final promo images once they are done, in the meantime - keep an eye out for more behind the scenes images from our move to new premises.

2014 World Barista Championship Winner

Hidenori Izaki from Japan has won the 2014 World Barista Championship (WBC). Hidenori won the final round of the WBC, which took place on 12 June in Rimini, Italy at World of Coffee (WOC) as part of the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe's annual coffee event. Kapo Chiu of Hong Kong won second place, Christos Loukakis of Greece won third place, Craig Simon of Australia won fourth place, Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood of the United Kingdom won fifth place, and William Hernandez of El Salvador won sixth place. In other world championship news, Stefanos Domatiotis from Greece has been crowned the 2014 World Brewers Cup Champion (WBRC). We are moving!!

  It's been a long time in the pipe works but finally the move has begun for us here at Bailies Coffee. Our new premises is located on Stockmans Way, not far from the M1 motorway, busy Lisburn road and Kings Hall in Belfast. As some of you may know we outgrew our last premises some time ago, but only now have we found the perfect spot for our new and and improved coffee roastery. We have some amazing ideas, some off the wall plans, and some schemes people suggested we downright ignored, but suffice it to say when we finish with this place its going to be rather spectacular.
