The Bailies team are just back from a wonderful time in Dublin where the World of Coffee show has been taking place. We have now exhibited at 4 trade shows this year, this one being our first ever global event. The general consensus was that we had the most fun of any trade show we've taken part in thus far, the people, camaraderie, atmosphere and coffees on display were nothing short of fantastic. We showcased some top notch coffee and served up espresso, filter, cold brew, nitro brew and even had an imperial porter beer made with some of our roasted coffee which was a big hit. Trade shows are a part of life here at Bailies Coffee - its great for us to spread the word, and more importantly spread the taste of our coffees to people who may not have tried them. We recently attended Food & Bev in Dublin, which was also the host of the 2016 Brewers Cup and Barista Championship. This year we had 2 of our own staff taking part in the Brewers section - Jonathan Parks and Stephen Houston. They were getting in some pre-competition practice on our stand in the image below. Well, it's over for another year, and we must say that we think it was possibly our best event ever at CATEX 2015. We were introducing a new seasonal espresso blend, which went down a storm, and thanks to those that tried it and entered our competition to name the blend #WWYNI. Our baristas were also brewing up some of our single estate coffees over the three days, you can see Jonathan on V60 duty above. We met lots of impassioned and interesting people, none more so than our guests on the Wednesday, Falcon Speciailty, who hosted a cupping session for us.
