Roasted for filter: Best enjoyed as a pour over, without milk, to allow the subtleties of the light roast to emerge.
The Buku Sayisa area is one of the highest elevated coffee growing regions in Ethiopia with a picking range up to 2550 masl. This lot was produced through the meticulous work of 430 smallholder farmers from the Buku Sayisa Village and processed at the Veer dry mill.
With a strong tradition for naturally processed coffees in Guji the region is renowned for its ability to produce some of the best in Ethiopia, this lot is no exception.
Smallholder farmers grow coffee trees on their garden. When the cherries are ripe, they are picked and transported to the Veer dry mill to slowly sun-dry. Once the beans reach the correct moisture level they are carefully hulled, hand-sorted and bagged ready for export.
