Roasted for filter: Best enjoyed as a pour over, without milk, to allow the subtleties of the light roast to emerge.
After the harvest, coffee is delivered to Karatu Coffee Factory for wet processing using water pumped from the River Rwabura. Once cherries are sorted and washed, the coffee is delivered to the dry mill to be dried on traditional raised beds. The factory invested in a pulper to ensure processing is carried out efficiently as well as a recirculation system and conditioning bins. In addition to coffee - common crops are grown as well as trees such as Macadamia in order to provide shade to the growing coffee trees.
