Grown in the high mountainous regions of Taiwan (previously named Formosa), this tea is named for its beautiful deep green colour of jade of the leaves. The leaves are partially oxidised under a carefully controlled environment to help develop the most amazing flavours and slightly fruity fragrance. When brewed, this tea yields a smooth, rich golden liquor with delicate mouthfeel. The flavour of the tea is mellow and subtly sweet with slightly toasted grain undertones providing a wonderful nuttiness. The tightly rolled pearls of tea can be brewed multiple times
