A 100% Java lot that is an interesting alternative to Geisha with high cup quality. Grown at high altitudes in the Pijao region near Armenia. Java has an interesting and long history of cultivation. A variety native to Ethiopia, introduced to the Indonesian island of Java, and now cultivated by Jairo Ivan Lopez of Finca El Roble in Colombia. As well as being a variety uncommon in Colombia, natural processing is also non-standard, these differences aid in the complexity of the end cup

Geisha has gained a reputation for being the rockstar of the coffee world. Typically from Panama however this lot has been carefully cultivated in Colombia. La Palma coffee is characterised by sweetness, acidity and intensity of aromas. This, paired with the Geisha varietal makes for an exceptional cup.
