Our second Ethiopian of the year is a washed heirloom from the Guji region. With tasting notes of Apricot, Pomegranate & Chamomile Tea, this is a true Ethiopian that will taste incredible on filter.  

Located in the beautiful mountainous region of Guji, the Hana Asrat Washing Station is run and managed by Feku Jebril who has specialised in the processing of washed coffee lots over many years.

PROCESS

Around 720 farmers deliver their cherries to this wet mill, selectively picking in the morning and bringing them for pulping in the afternoon. This lot was fermented for 24-28 hours and soaked for 4 hours to stabilise moisture content before being dried on raised beds.
