Finca La Ruda is located in the Esquipulas region of east Guatemala, close to the Honduran border. The region isn't typically deemed suitable for coffee growing as it is highly humid. However, La Ruda farm is in a unique position that it is within its own microclimate allowing Jose to grow with high efficiency and quality.
Farmer and owner Jose processes all of his coffee as washed to remain consistent, producing a sweet, traditional Guatemala end cup.
