Finca El Rodeo is located in the Chinacla region of west Honduras. It is the sister farm of our well regarded Las Flores microlot, owned by Natalie Pineda.
Edgar Carillo is the proud owner of El Rodeo, with two decades of family experience behind him Edgar is no newcomer to the industry and has decided to set out on his own path a few years ago.
Natalia, Edgars mother previously placed 4th in the Honduras Cup of Excellence in 2017, with our sister farm Las Flores.
In addition to producing quality-led coffee, the farm is being used to support and educate in good practices of sustainable and organic production, serving as a school for the other producers of Pacayal Coffee.
Keen to improve the quality of coffee in Honduras, Edgar and his sister Karen have also established their own company that focuses on supporting farmers, processing and exporting coffees.
