Introducing this washed Honduran, the latest microlot from this talented producer and coffee farmer. A longtime friend of Bailies, it’s always a pleasure to receive coffees from Pacayal and Rosario in Honduras.
Rosario Pineda was born into a family of coffee growers who strongly believed in producing high quality coffees in a sustainable manner. Today, Rosario owns and runs Los Aguacates, her own sustainable, high quality production farm where coffee is grown with love and dedication.
This Catuai varietal has been on our Microlot lineup previously- a hit then, and still is now with this newest harvest.
The Lempira and Catuai varities are commonly grown and produced on farms in Honduras. The past year, has been more difficult for Rosario and many other producers from production perspective due to adverse weather conditions, however this beautiful coffee will not disappoint.
This particular lot has been processed using a washed method, which has provided a fun and unique experience for us at the roastery- being able to taste the same lot of coffee that has gone through two processes, side by side. And now you can also do the same.

Megan Byrne I've been fortunate enough to taste Los Aguacates as an Gesha, Natural, and a washed and I have to say this washed process is the best of them all. Super sweet and juicy, so enjoyable!
