Los Aguacates is owned and run by Rosario Pineda. Rosario’s family members operate other farms in the area, including her nephew Edgar who spearheaded the creation of Pacayal Coffee in 2014, aimed at helping producers during an unemployment crisis in their local town of Marcala. 

Their founding principle, “quality does not suffer crisis” is the epitome of their culture of continuous improvement in production, processing, and the quality of life for those producing these coffees. This phenomenal example of a Natural Geisha is a testament to what this approach can achieve.
